Red Night Eternity

This melee sword actually started as my attempt to make my first ever 3D model better and up to my standards today. Then I looked at the design with the chain and everything and thought 'why not make it Minecraft inspired.' The big updates to the Nether dimension in Minecraft came out in 2020 and introduced many new nether biomes, mobs and features. This sword is supposed to be made out of Netherite, the rare ore found through ancient debris in the bottom of the nether. For everything else I took a lot of inspiration from the Crimson Forest Biome, the Piglin mob and the bastions, this is evident through the blackstone guard and decorations, crimson wood handle and gold chain wrapped around it

This was modelled in Maya, textured and UVd in 3DCoat, rendered in Unreal Engine 4 and edited in Adobe Photoshop
