'Vision Of Paradisius'
Character Concepts
'Vision Of Paradisius' is a concept for a manga web series created by me. The series will be set in the 2270s/2280s in a retro-futurist aesthetic universe. The Series is very much inspired by anime like Sousei No Aquarion and the 'Leijiverse' animes in both plot and aesthetics. The story follows a group of rebels who are against the corrupt government of 'The Democratic United Earth' in the 23rd Century. They roam the vast galaxy in their spaceship, helping those in need, often victims of the heinous acts of the corrupt government and those in power. Here I am creating several pieces of character concept art for the series-
MISAKA AKIRA
Misaka is one of the 2 main characters. She has a fiery, brash and bold personality. Her story is that she an orphan in Tokyo who hangs around with street with several other orphans of different ages (mostly children). Her and her best friend are the same age and are like the 'leaders' of the group. When her best friend is killed by the government, she is invited by Belladonna Andromedus III (upcoming character) to join her group of rebels. Her character design and personality is influence by characters like Apollo from Sousei No Aquarion, Kaneda Shotarou from Akira and Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail.
This was sketched and drawn in Krita, I had fun experimenting using different brushes and shading techniques in the software.
